Culture Warrington is an organisation incorporating Pyramid & Parr Hall and Warrington Museum & Art Gallery. The venues play host to a variety of high profile events, conferences and concerts, from Jimmy Carr to The Stone Roses.

A highly organised and proficient Events and Programming Officer is required to support the Venue and Events Manager with the development of Culture Warrington's artistic programme and to assist with management of Culture Warrington venues. This includes the booking of artists and event resources whilst ensuring all health and safety and licensing legislation is adhered to.

You will have a thorough understanding of the commercial theatre business, excellent knowledge of the industry and a good network of contacts.  You will also have the ability to manage events within our venues and at outdoor sites across the town

The role will include evening / weekend work as required to meet the needs of the venues.

LiveWire is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the current operational team as a peripatetic Duty Manager to work across all six leisure sites. The successful candidate will be part of a wider team known as Lead LiveWire Advisors that will manage day to day operations ensuring that staff resources are used effectively and efficiently across all aspects of the facility.

In addition, they will support the Area Management team to develop and promote an integrated Health and Wellbeing offer across the whole of Warrington.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate supervisory experience preferably gained in the leisure industry and experience of supervising a swimming pool operation is desirable. Applicants will be expected to have an up to date working knowledge of health & safety and have a proven track record of managing risk.

The ability to effectively manage and motivate a team is required in this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain partnerships are essential especially with regard to LiveWire's integration agenda

The successful candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours including shift work at evenings and weekends and be able to work at all sites.

We are recruiting to a pool of lifeguards – known as LiveWire Advisors – who will work across all our facilities taking responsibility for supervising customers within the pool and the surrounding areas to ensure safety at all times.

Additional responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and tidy environment, responding to customer enquiries and requests for information, and moving equipment to help set up for events and activities. 

Applicants must hold a current NPLQ certificate.

Our need is to have a flexible team that are able to respond to regular operational demands covering shifts and duties and also supplementing core teams.
