LiveWire Community Interest Company has a genuinely exciting opportunity available for a driven and skilled individual. Currently, the Library service is embarking on a significant change programme and the Organisation requires a proven implementer to take the strategy forward along with all of its stakeholders.

An understanding of what needs to happen for Libraries to remain contemporary and relevant to their communities is essential, as is an awareness of and interest in national and regional imperatives in this sector. A track record in Library transformation and securing income generation would be a distinct advantage.

This is a full-time fixed term contract for 3 years that will enable a dynamic and committed individual to make a real difference to the delivery of the Library service across Warrington.

LiveWire has an opportunity for a Smoking Cessation Advisor to work as part of a team to deliver a comprehensive stop smoking service to the residents and workers of Warrington. In addition to smoking cessation advice, the successful candidate will also provide referral pathways into other partner services for further interventions if required.

Applicants must have experience of working with clients with potentially complex health and emotional needs to support individuals to stop smoking. They must also hold a minimum Level 2 NCSCT qualification in Smoking Cessation.

The service is provided from a range of venues throughout Warrington including community settings, GP practices, schools and places of work. The job holder is expected to travel to these independently.

LiveWire is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the current operational team at Great Sankey Leisure Centre. This Centre is currently being refurbished into a Neighbourhood Hub which will provide integrated leisure, library and lifestyle services. The successful candidate will be part of a team that will manage the day to day operation of the Centre ensuring that staff resources are used effectively and efficiently across all aspects of the facility.

In addition, they will support the Area Management team to develop and promote an integrated Health and Wellbeing offer across the West of Warrington.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate supervisory experience preferably gained in the leisure industry and experience of supervising a swimming pool operation is desirable. Applicants will be expected to have an up to date working knowledge of health & safety and have a proven track record of managing risk.

The ability to effectively manage and motivate a team is required in this role as is the ability to plan and prioritise workloads. Individuals must be able to drive and monitor the sale of memberships and other re-saleable items. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain partnerships are essential especially with regard to LiveWire's integration agenda

A flexible approach to working hours is essential including shift work at evenings and weekends.
