Self-employed

Location - Based at Great Sankey Leisure Centre (West Warrington)

LiveWire's tennis programme seeks to appoint a qualified tennis coach to work at a local level within the west Warrington area, to increase the number of people (junior & adult) participating in tennis.

You will have to be a highly motivated, skilled and enthusiastic individual with the desire to make a difference to tennis participation in Warrington. With a non-exclusive focus on young people aged 14+ the delivery will take place in school and community settings to encourage tennis players from all sectors of the community to engage with the sport.

This is a self-employed position and applicants will need a minimum LTA Level 2 Coaching qualification. Applications are also open to coaches with a Level 3 qualification. For Level 2 coaches assistance will be given to those willing to work to a level 3 qualification.

All applicants will need to possess:

  • Excellent communications & interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in partnership with the LTA, County Association, CSP & Education
  • Willingness to work evenings & weekends

Two permanent opportunities – 1 x 37 hours per week and 1 x 30 hours per week

Pay Range £16,572 - £17,714 (Pro rata for part time hours)

At Culture Warrington, we have two vacancies for Visitor Services Assistants – one full time and one part time opportunity.

Based at Warrington Museum and Art Gallery, you will be part of our Front of House team helping to ensure the smooth operation of the building for the enjoyment of visitors and the security of the collections. Committed to customer care, you will contribute towards a rewarding visitor experience by providing general assistance and information to the general public and educational groups. You will also, as part of a team, provide informal learning such as guided tours and craft activities. You must be motivated and an excellent time keeper.

Following appropriate training the successful candidate will also be involved in installing and dismantling exhibitions, and moving artefacts which requires confidence, basic technical skills (DIY and AV) and the ability to work at height.

Visitor Service Assistants are responsible for ensuring the security of the main building and related off site facilities and experience in related employment is essential.

Both jobs involve working regular Saturdays and occasional evenings, and from time to time working at other sites within Culture Warrington such as Pyramid and Parr Hall.
