Lead LiveWire Advisor - Leisure
Pay range - £21,320 - £24,232
Permanent - 37 hours per week on a 3 week shift rota
Location - Great Sankey Leisure Centre
Closing date: 9am Friday 5th June
LiveWire is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the current operational team at Great Sankey Leisure Centre. This Centre is currently being refurbished into a Neighbourhood Hub which will provide integrated leisure, library and lifestyle services. The successful candidate will be part of a team that will manage the day to day operation of the Centre ensuring that staff resources are used effectively and efficiently across all aspects of the facility.
In addition, they will support the Area Management team to develop and promote an integrated Health and Wellbeing offer across the West of Warrington.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate supervisory experience preferably gained in the leisure industry and experience of supervising a swimming pool operation is desirable. Applicants will be expected to have an up to date working knowledge of health & safety and have a proven track record of managing risk.
The ability to effectively manage and motivate a team is required in this role as is the ability to plan and prioritise workloads. Individuals must be able to drive and monitor the sale of memberships and other re-saleable items. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain partnerships are essential especially with regard to LiveWire's integration agenda
A flexible approach to working hours is essential including shift work at evenings and weekends.
